Automation department Rotech

Home and building automation is there to make the life of the user easier. We at Rotech supply our customers with any kind of automation they want to have in their home or building. Home automation is the residential extension of building automation. It is automation of the home, housework or household activity. Home automationmay include centralized control of lighting, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), appliances, security locks of gates and doors and other systems, to provide improved convenience, comfort, energy efficiency and security. For home automation Rotech uses Control4 systems, Rotech is the official dealer of Control4 products on Aruba.

With larger buildings the need for more powerful systems is inevitable. Building automation describes the advanced functionality provided by the control system of a building. A building automation system (BAS) is an example of a distributed control system. The control system is a computerized, intelligent network of electronic devices designed to monitor and control the mechanical, electronics, and lighting systems in a building.

BAS core functionality keeps the building climate within a specified range, provides lighting based on an occupancy schedule, monitors system performance and device failures, and provides malfunction alarms (via email and/or text notifications) to building engineering/maintenance staff. The BAS functionality reduces building energy and maintenance costs when compared to a non-controlled building.
Rotech works together with the world leading suppliers of building automation systems and provides these to their clients. Our automation engineers are trained for the installation of these systems and regularly undergo trainings for new systems or to upgrade their skills.
